All year long I enjoy eating and shopping locally and supporting small on line businesses. I especially like to shop small during the holiday season.  In addition to supporting them, you can find better quality and unique items. Win-win!  I've put together a list of some of my favorite small businesses. Shop in person or on line! Whether you need gifts, stocking stuffers, or home and fashion items for yourself and your family to dress up this holiday season, shopping small is the way to go!

PS - I've included mainly Pitt County businesses, but I threw in a few New England faves as well!

Cooper's Cup - A favorite in Winterville, grab some great coffee and shop some local artists and vendors. I find LOTS of gifts here.

Truly Yours - My go-to boutique for everything from dresses for weddings and outings to everyday sweaters. They have something for everyone!

Main & Mill - Stop in after holiday shopping or plan your family or friends holiday get together. Salmon or the burger are 2 of my favorite dishes...and of course they have the best oysters! Sit at the bar and enjoy their rotating cocktail menu. Pick up some gift cards too!

Yoga Strong - Don't forget to take care of you! Awesome classes for all levels and kids. They also have gift certificates and merch for your favorite yogi.

Jennifer Lima Photography - New England friends - Get your holiday and family photos done with Jen! She does weddings too.

Loop by Loop Studio - Rug hooking gifts and kits available on line! Looking for a new hobby, take some classes in 2026 (another one for New England friends)

Local Oak Brewing Co. - Stop in for a post shopping beer or to purchase gifts. They have beer to go, gift cards, and apparel. You can order on line too!

Amy Lima Photos - Of course you can shop with yours truly! Book your 2026 photo session today! I also have prints and gift certificates available.

Spartan Pro Wash - Need a clean exterior for the holidays or new year? Chad is your man!

Aji - Pick up unique wine, beer, and food items for parties and gifts

Gypsy Spirit Boutique - Shop for holiday outfits, gifts, gift cards...oh and I love their purses!

Dough Girl  - This line of dessert scented bodycare is perfect for holiday gifts. I'm thinking my secret Santa recipient will be loving these.

Simply Divine Olive Oil & Wine - Shop for the foodie in your life...they have the most amazing olive oils and vinegars along with great kitchen gifts. Pick up wine for your holiday celebrations or gifts. They have a wonderful selection.

Let me know some of your favorite small and local businesses! Happy Holidays!!
