Simple Ways to Decorate Your Home with Photos

I often wonder about the cherished memories behind the photographs hanging in your homes. Each one carries a story and brings us closer together.

I'm sure it's no surprise that I love decorating our home with photos. I enjoy displaying them in all different forms—framed prints, canvas, metal prints, cubes, and even magnets.

Of course I frame memories with friends and family, but I especially love displaying photos from the places we've lived and traveled. Since we are originally from Massachusetts, having prints from around New England throughout our house helps remind me of home.

Gallery Walls

A gallery wall is a beautiful way to display multiple memories in one place. Mixing different frame sizes and orientations creates visual interest while telling a story through your photos. Hallways, staircases, and living rooms are great spots for this.

Statement Prints

Sometimes one large photo makes the biggest impact. A large framed print or canvas above a couch, bed, or fireplace can become the focal point of a room. This works especially well for a favorite family portrait or a meaningful travel photo.

Photo Ledges

Photo ledges or frame shelves make it easy to display and swap out photos whenever you want. Frames can be layered and rearranged without adding more holes in the wall, which is perfect if you like to update your decor often.

Photo Books

Photo books are a great way to keep memories visible without taking up wall space. A family album or travel photo book on a coffee table lets guests flip through and relive special moments.

Small Frames Around the House

Not every photo display needs to be large. Small framed prints on shelves, desks, nightstands, or entry tables add warmth and personality throughout your home.

Tell me about your favorite captured moment!!

One of the best parts of photography is seeing those images become part of your home and your everyday life. If you're ready to refresh the photos on your walls or create new memories to display, I’d love to work with you.
