Last week, I hosted a Winterville Chamber of Commerce headshot event at Local Oak Brewery, and I'm so grateful I get to do what I do.

Nearly 20 people joined us to update their professional photos, make new connections, and enjoy a relaxed night out.  With Local Oak's outdoor space as our backdrop, we were able to create natural headshots that felt authentic and professional without the stiffness of a traditional studio session (or the use of AI haha!)

Everyone enjoyed great conversations, beer and wine from the brewery, and delicious tacos from the Los Diaz food truck. It turned into more than just a headshot event—it became a chance for local professionals, business owners, and community members to network and connect.

One of the biggest misconceptions about headshots is that they have to feel formal or uncomfortable. In reality, the best images often come from a relaxed environment where people can be themselves. The casual atmosphere at Local Oak was perfect!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a success. I loved meeting new faces and helping people refresh the images they use for LinkedIn profiles, websites, marketing materials, and social media.
