Run for a Reason

Inspired by my parents and grandparents, I have always had a passion for giving back to my community. I am so fortunate that I'm able to use my photography to do good deeds. Whether it's donating my time to take photos or contributing proceeds from my sessions, it's always an honor.

I'm a member of the Greenville Women's League and I get to participate in a variety of wonderful events all year long. Last week we hosted a 5K benefitting juvenile diabetes research. One of the best things about this event is that run clubs from our local elementary schools participate. It's a lot of fun to see schools, students, parents, families, and local runners come together as a community to support an important cause. An amazing 14 year old patient who was recently diagnosed with diabetes presented an inspiring speech sharing his story with everyone. It was a beautiful morning filled with music, photos, food, and running. The race consisted of a 5K run and a 1 mile fun run/walk. I was so proud of everyone!
