Over the years I have supported various local causes through my business.  Whether it's Toys for Tots during the holidays or donating to a charity of  choice when someone books a session, I love being involved in our community. I have been wanting to focus on one particular cause for a while now, and I'm excited to announce that I have decided on a focus for 2021!  EDUCATION!!!

For each session booked, I will donate $10 to a teacher via Donors Choose.  I will aim to help teachers in Pitt County, NC whenever possible. If not, I will choose a teacher from my hometown area in New England.  As a former teacher, education is close to my heart and extremely important to me. I used Donors Choose myself as a teacher and was able to gain funding for lots of fun projects and necessary materials for my classroom. 

It brings me joy to be able to support education even though I am no longer in the classroom. I know how much it will mean to the teachers and students to receive donations. If you are looking for somewhere to give back, Donors Choose is a wonderful organization. Check it out here.
