As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm all about eating, drinking, and shopping locally. During the quarantine, supporting our local businesses was important to my husband and me. This included lots of take out, beers to go from the breweries, and shopping on line. We wanted to show our support for our community and do our part to help make sure our favorite businesses survived this crazy time.  Now that the holidays are here, it's the perfect time show continued support. 

The 2020 holiday season is the most important time of all for us to support small on line and local businesses.  

Small Business Saturday started as a campaign launched by American Express on Nov. 27, 2010, to help small businesses gain exposure and to inspire consumers to shop within their own communities during the holiday season. The day became official in 2011 when Washington State mayors, governors, senators and President Obama shared their support for Small Business Saturday.

Happy Holidays and Cheers to 2021!

During this unsettled year, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture a wonderful couple's wedding day. Like many brides and grooms, Kelly and Ryan's wedding plans didn't go quite as expected. They had to reschedule, relocate, and adjust all of their plans. Unfortunately, not all of their family members were able to attend. However, they were so positive and made the absolute best of it. It was so heart warming to see that although it looked a lot different than how they imagined, they didn't let it get them down and were able to enjoy their special day. There was so much happiness and love in the room, and that is exactly what we all need right now. I had an absolute blast working with them and all of the guests! Everyone was so kind and friendly and I could tell they all truly enjoyed and appreciated being part of the big day. 

Some of your 2020 and 2021 events may be small and intimate, but you still want to capture your special moments. I'm available for small events, weddings, and parties.
