I just love collaborating with other creatives to work on various projects together. In August I did a flower crown photo shoot with Fashion Stoppe and Bridal & Braids. We had so, so much fun, we decided to plan another fashion shoot together. This time while we did include a couple of flower crowns, we decided to have some fun with GLITTER!
We found some perfect spots Uptown Greenville, NC and got to work. Our model is gorgeous and so is the lighting. Stay tuned for some more creative adventures from us and for now, enjoy these super fun photos!

Celebration
How do you celebrate important days in your life? My husband and I have a tradition where we celebrate important days with each other with experiences. Instead of flowers, gifts, or any material items, we like to plan something to do together. Over the years some of those things have included Red Sox games, comedy shows, concerts, beach getaways, New England trips up north....to name some of them!
For our wedding anniversary in September, we always plan a getaway. This year we decided to head to Asheville, NC for a long weekend. Ever since we moved down to North Carolina everyone has told us how much we would love it there. They were right! We fell in love with Asheville. We stayed in an awesome apartment downtown and we had so much fun exploring all that Asheville has to offer. Main highlights included restaurants, breweries, live local music, and taking in the sights. The mountain view from Cappella on 9 was a favorite spot for me. It's such a cool spot and the sunset was amazing. There is so much to do there that we couldn't fit it all in over 4 days, we will be back for sure! Do you have any favorite spots in Asheville? I love this tradition that my husband and I started. It's so great to take a break from everyday life and spend special time together. I look forward to many, many more birthday, anniversary, and holiday adventures!

Why is Fall the best time to book a photo session?
* You will need gifts for grandparents for the holidays. A calendar, magnet, or framed print of your baby, children, or family make the BEST gifts!
* Your family portraits need updating. When was the last time you took family photos? Most photographers run specials at this time of year, so it's the perfect time to book a session and get those updated photos you've been meaning to have done.
* Holiday Cards! We all know how much everyone loves receiving a photo card of your family, children, and/or pets in the mail during the holiday season. Personally, I look forward to seeing everyone's pictures and love getting photo cards in the mail.
* Photo ornaments make a great keepsake. An inexpensive home decor item that everyone will enjoy on the tree year after year. They also make great gifts!
* The weather and lighting are amazing. The autumn days are beautiful for taking photos. The cooler air is comfortable for everyone and the lighting is gorgeous. Even if you decide to have your photos taken inside, the natural light coming in at this time of year will give you great results.

The Latest Flower Crown Fun!

Recently I partnered up with 2 friends for an exciting afternoon on a flower crown adventure. We used a variety of crowns, make up looks, and outfits to create some great styles. We enjoyed experimenting and had lots of laughs! I felt so inspired after working with these 2 beautiful ladies for the day. We worked well together and I can't wait to plan some more projects. Fun in the Garden and on the Farm
While I've lived here in Winterville, NC for three years now, I'm still discovering new spots to photograph. I recently fell in love with taking photos at a local farm, Strawberries on 903. The property is so pretty and I love the buildings and animals. Now I discovered a new place for sessions, Plant and See Nursery. There are so many hidden gems inside this nursery, which is more than just a place to buy flowers and plants.
When looking for a place for this soon-to-be 7 year old to take her birthday photos, both of these outdoor local locations seemed perfect and they did not disappoint. The infectious giggles of this cutie kept me laughing the whole time. It truly was a joy to watch her explore and interact with nature. We got a nice variety of posed and candid shots.
