I found this little gem of a place in Greenville, NC and jumped at the opportunity to hold a mini session event there during tulip season. Raising Grayce Farm is an adorable pick-your-own flower farm. It's in the owner's backyard and they are kind enough to allow photography on their property. I had been looking to do something like this, and the nearest tulip farm I could find was in the Raleigh area. So I was super excited to find something local! Tulips are one of my favorite Spring flowers, I knew the photos would be beautiful. About a week before my event, I visited the farm with my parents. We had a great time walking around and checking out all the different kinds of flowers. We met the farm cat, chickens, and cows as well. We cut some flowers to take home and the visit got me even more excited for my minis.
The day of the mini sessions was pretty, sunny, and warm....but it was a little windy at the farm. Everyone looked great and had fun despite the wind! I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to doing more floral sessions there. Sunflowers and zinnias are next, so be on the lookout for booking information! Full sessions are offered as well. So if you are looking for a unique location for your Spring photo session, let me know!
